Samsung R5, R3 and R1 wireless audio 360 speakers set to rock your world

by

It looks like Samsung Electronics are not going to just sit there and watch the world go by – as they make and take the effort to spruce up the Wireless Audio 360 speaker range by introducing three new models at IFA 2015. The three new speakers would be the R5, R3 and R1 models, where they are all of the omni-directional variety that feature a new built-in tap-and-swipe user interface in addition to an improved Multiroom app for customers’ smartphones, tablets and smartwatches. I guess the world of wireless speakers have just become all the more interesting with the release of yet another three more models to join in the fray. This just goes to show that Samsung is not all about large screen TVs and high end smartphones only, but they seem to encompass a whole slew of consumer electronics, too.

It looks as though the R5, R3 and R1 models will tread the same path which the R7 and R6 speakers took, where the latter picked up their fair share of bouquets along the way as well. True to form, this new trio of speakers will be able to deliver a similar high-quality, balanced sound, and premium table-top design which should be able to see them fit into just about any home without any issue.

The R5, R3 and R1 models will also stand out with one stark difference – they boast of new physical control options that offer a hassle-free and intuitive user experience. This means you are now able to change the volume, play, pause, or select a different music source all with a gentle touch, tap or swipe on top of the speaker. Expect these new models to arrive Stateside as well as in European markets in the last quarter of this year, where pricing will start from $199 and go all the way to $399.
